Just bought a 1987 325IS for a dailey driver. Original car with 112k miles, it even came with the window sticker. I was shocked when I saw the dealer charge of $28,665. Wow, I had forgotten how expensive these cars were.

Ouch. That’s a lot of 1987 dollars.

#3

Wow. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says that’s a $57,934.08 car in 2012 dollars.

I have the dealership papers from mine and it was $32k and change out the door. It blew my mind too.

#5

I think the recent 335is models were pushing into the $55k+ range for the top of the line non M 3 series.

They were worth it, if you bought it and took care of it you would never have to buy another car…make mine an iC with the factory hardtop…

Fred’s got mine…

I’ve heard of window stickers for 325’s showing a list price ranging from ~$28k to ~$35k, depending on when the car was built and what options it had.
