E30 Wagon

#1

I know it is off the topic of racing, but does anyone know of a E30 wagon for sale? I know they did not import them, but there are a few that made it to the states.

No, but I would love to own one like this:

or this
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1527042 (which apparently comes with a free six pack in the rear floorboard.

But a $12k E30 might be a little wacky. Small price to pay to be the only one on the block. Come to think of it, my E30 'vert is the only one on the block.

i know of one for sale with NY title for 6.5k in NJ. No motor included but otherwise complete. You can check it out here: http://picasaweb.google.com/gutenparts/NewListings12232010#

My friend’s at GutenParts and Service, an bmw specialist shop are the owners. They have 2 of them, this one is for sale. The good thing with this car is you have a title already so no need to federalize.

what’s funny is that i know the previous owners of both those cars. the NH one i’ve driven and is very nicely restored to mint condition by my buddy Howard who is a bit of an e30 nut. The 2nd one is being sold by the previous owner of the white touring that my buddy Levent@Gutenparts is selling. As far as I am aware there are only a handful (10-15) tourings in the country.

I will be shipping some back this year, will be in Europe April-August, part of the plan is to buy tourings and fill them with ALfa Romeo parts and do a roll on shipping so I do not have to use containers…

Contact me off board if you are interested in a touring.

Thanks

make sure you have paperwork to prove they are older than 25yrs if you want to clear them through US customs.

Enthusiast Auto has/had 2 of them. Call Eric or Evan and tell them I sent you. I’m not honestly sure if either are for sale. iirc, at least one was going to be built into something fast.

They likely know of any/all E30 tourings that are available in this country. At a minimum, they know all about any other car out there that you’re looking at.
