Just curious how many out there own E30 street cars. I just bought a '91 black on black with an M50 engine swap; Eibachs, Bilsteins, an E30 M3 steering rack, and a Z3 Trans. What a car!! Great power, lithe handling absent in some of the newer, heaver cars, and NO TIMING BELT to change. This is my 4th E30 (counting the racecar) and I’m in love all over again. If it proves to be reliable, it will be in the family a long time.

Heh, I’ve got a 1990 325iS with Z3 rack and M50, the Spece30, and a '91 318is on the way.
In the process of restoring a 87is for street duty, and a swap is the plan. I drove a S52 swapped car a while back and Whoa!!
You ever threaten to take the motor out of that again - I’ll punch you in the neck. That is a great looking car - and you know - convertibles ARE legal
Rockin’ the '91 318is myself. Nice on the street, easy on gas, and in no way competitive in any racing class whatsoever, so I’m not tempted to soup it up.B)
Got a 91 325iX right now but it’s just been sold because we have a e36 325iT on the way. For the next E30 I want to get one with the motor swap and quicker steering rack. I love the character and it makes a great daily driver for me. I just wish I didn’t have to kill it driving in the salt during winter.
just out of curiosity, what master cylinder and brake booster is in your car. generally the swaps necessitate a change there and just wondering what some others are using.

you can use several brake boosters the E30 ix, 320i, 2002, 944 i believe, and one from a 7 series will work.
I’ve spent 100s of hours researching this swap
