Well, I think that the ROWDY DOG RACING, car 1 is ready for tech next Friday! I hope we don’t get any surprises. I am trying to do a garage alignment with 2 sheets of steel which stand against each front wheel - with slits cut on each edge of the sheets, 3.5 inches from ground. I run two metric tape measures under car, one in front of and one behind the front wheels, pull tight and check measurements. BTW: each sheet of metal lays nicely against each wheel, they can also be used to check camber with a square and a camber device that I was given.
The only problem: not sure exactly what the MFG spec alignment is. I think it is 2mm toe out. I do know that toeing out just a smidge from MFG spec is supposed to be the poo. Anyone know the spec from BMW?
