Daytona 24

#1

Wow, what a race… One hour 15 min left and it’s so close.

It was quite a race… I wanted Suntrust to come from 4th to win; but Brumos did a great job!

And how does speed follow it up? Bobsledding! WTF?

I’d rather watch just about anything than bobsledding, who thought this was a good idea.

Seriously you can sell commericals for that, but not a decent road race SPEED?

#4

I saw that Daniel Harrington was on the entry list in a GT porsche…

FYI it was on there b/c a lot of nascar drivers were participating… which is still not a very good reason.

Anyway, the 24 was prolly the best race I ever seen.

Al loves winter sports, I’m sure it was for him. He kinda looks a little like a Bodine…with all the inbreeding, don’t you think?

Fantastic race. I was pulling for Brumos because of Donahue and they’ve been so snakebit last coupla years. They put Donahue in with an hour to go and he was all over JPM like a blanket for about 3 laps until he could use traffic to pull ahead. Marvelous. It’s been all Suntrust, Ganassi and Gainsco, it’d be cool to have Brumos make charge this year.

What a great road race. It’s good to see Brumos take the win. I agree with AJ it’s good to see another team win. Great last hour of racing. Glad Donohue got to be in for the last stint.
