Dave White and Bimmerworld

So Dave is formally on the team now? That’s new, right? Either way, WTG Dave!

If you consider the JV All Stars enduro team to be a subset of BW then no it isn’t new.

But since that isn’t the ‘conventionally’ accepted view, then yes it is new.

He and Clay will be in one car, while Seth and Bill Heumann (another BMW Club Racer) will be in the other.

They tested strong at Dayonta last weekend, and their experience with the E90 cars will hopefully make the transition to the Continental (formerly Koni) Challenge Series an easy and successful one.

Yes, Dave and Bill are new to the “pro” series

i hope i can get the results and experience under my belt to get picked up by a professional race team! its probably really hard to get on a pro team but sounds like alot of fun to get as much seat time as possible and work on my car till im competive enough to try!:stuck_out_tongue:

Scott,

thanks for the link.

42 laps in and BMW m3 1, 2, and 3rd spot.

Clay and Bimmerworld car is currently 4th in class

#11

ended up around 50th place. any idea what happened?

#12

James/Dave’s car got hit going in to T1. They were running in 4th position until that happened.

Seth/Bill finished 2nd though - awesome debut for Bimmerworld in a new series with completely new cars.

we ended up 27th in ST…i qualified in 3rd, and ran as high as 2nd (i think) and handed over the car to james in 4th…james was running in 4th right behind the 2nd and 3rd place cars when a competitor punted him from behind in to the car in front of him in the brake zone for T1 resulting in suspension damage…this happened with about 25-30 minutes left in the race and we had to retire the car…

Seth and Bill brought the other BimmerWorld/GearWrench car home in 2nd!! The whole team worked their butts off all weekend and it paid off!!

Shaun, good seeing you and Amber in the rolex garages/pits last night!

Good seeing you guys too. We had a great weekend down there - wish we could’ve been there on Friday, though.

Hope you had an uneventful drive back - it was smooth sailing for us.
