My father-in-law had a great saying that applies to your situation…

Ice cream costs more than sh!t

You can get away with certain cheap parts for a street car but it’s not worth it on a track car. I’ve completely stopped ordering from Bavauto because they don’t tell you what part you’re buying or give you an option. 9 out of 10 times you pay for the quality part but receive URO junk if you don’t just receive a yellow back order slip.

I’ve been ordering replacement parts from IE lately. They usually have multiple oem brands to chose from. I don’t use ebay unless I refuse to pay more than half of what something is actually worth.
My turbo is a 200$ ebay special and is holding strong. I think it’s a korean? replica of an old garret design but it turned out perfect. All I wanted to do was blow up the m20 in a blaze of glory so that I would have an excuse for an engine swap but that didn’t turn out as planned.

In spite of our past forum bickering, my respect for you just grew immensely! Damn M20s. Too reliable.

Have you let Ranger take your turbo for a spin yet? Problem solved.

haha… ranger would need to add a bunch of gauges first though
