Just curious as to who won feature event at CMP,this past weekend?
Also wondering who captured pole for feature. Were there any new track records
set?
CMP results For BMWCCA 02/21/09 weekend?
Joe, this is the spec e30 website and we race within the NASA group.
As a general rule, noone here really cares about BMWCCA race results, unless one of our fellow spec e30 racers ventures over to race. Even then, noone really cares. You could ask me how I know, but noone really cares. Noone really cares: a reoccurring theme.
Regards, Robert Patton
I thought BMWCCA was going to recognize spec e-30
as a class this year. Didnt mean to piss you off robert.
Always thought you were a stand-up racer. Why do you dislike me?
Just assumed some of you spec=30 racers may have competed.
If I offended anyone, I apologise. I guess you are assuming that I know the answers
to my questions?
Why do I hit myself with a hammer, repeatedly? Because it feels so damn good when I stop! So now I will stop. And yes, someone cares.
Especially when the entire field of a BMWCCA race is smaller than just the SE30 class alone at the same track weeks later, no one on a SE30 board cares.
Akard needs to hire a new P.R. firm.
Joe, as a long time BMWCCA Club racer and supporter and someone who does still follow how people are doing over there… let me echo Patton’s comments, nobody cares here. You can discuss that stuff on bimmerforums.

Geiger’s just bitter that someone is horning in on his 5 week “bask in victory’s glory” period between CMP and RA.

PS - Akard got 2 good photos in Roundel. That would probably make up for the GRM thing. Until you read in the same column about IndyJim’s 2nd place enduro finish, late-race brake pad change, etc. I mean, jeez, if they cover THAT stuff…
I was hoping they would mention that we beat the E1 team in the enduro.
Where can I flame the Roundel toads for poor coverage? I didn’t even get a picture and my car is hot.
Travis and Al must not have gotten a good rate from that ‘real racers’ magazine!
I was supposed to be the first “recognized” Spec E30 to race in BMWCCA. But with 2 sick motors, I bailed on the race. It was to be my first victory too, sigh.
Just tell people you won with only 13 cars chances are no one will dispute your story.
and as Patton points out no one really cares.
Guess I am on wrong board. After all, I am Mikes crew chief. Good luck, all you spec e-30 racers. I will limit my posts to e-30 topics, as I will be competing in this class, very soon. Look forward to friendships in the future. Life is too short to make enemies before you even meet them. So I humbly apologise for anyone I may have offended. Getting pretty good at saying Im sorry. Be safe out there. joedapro
