Damion (or I’ll say “we”) have a parts car he’s using. You would all die if you knew where we got it, but we’ll tell you offline sometime.

The parts car didn’t happen to have 2 sets of Koenigs in the back seat, did it?
Steve D.
Finally got my footage uploaded. Vimeo still in post-processing so may have to check in tomorrow morning to view.
Here’s my accident with Steven C in the Sunday race.
http://www.vimeo.com/3208304 I didn’t see his bobble because the 410 was blocking my view.
Here is the start of the Saturday race. You can just barely see the Brian Jones / Patton deal in T4.
Before that, I took evasive twice. First time I followed Johan around the outside of T1 to avoid Brandon, and then at T3 it seemed to me that DeVinney didn’t leave me much track space, or maybe I just spazzed and bailed out for nothing. Opinions?
Fixed the privacy, but they are still waiting to process.
Vimeo is strange. I uploaded two clips, and one defaulted to private and the other to public. Whatever. They still have almost an hour (supposedly) until they are available
Saturday Looks like Steve did pinch you a bit. Good driving!!!
Sunday Cantebury(sp?) was already out of control when Steve D hit him sending him right in front of you. As much as it sucks it looks like a racing incident.
Tip #1 make sure you have correct diff
Tip #2 Don’t run race series director off track
Tip #3 Bring plenty of beer to track to hand out Saturday night

You can see that 410 had backed off to give 77 room to get through T3. It was only after 77 lost his ‘mo’ while trying to save his slapper that 410 came up to him as he flashed by. Having said that, I don’t think DeVinney’s tap had anything to do with it, as 77 was already heading track left. I have wondered what would have happened to 77 if I hadn’t been there to hit him. He may well have saved it and kept it going, or his trajectory might have forced him into the same tire wall I ended up in. Hard to say.
410 was perfectly placed to keep me from seeing the beginning of 77s trouble. In the NFL, if you face guard a guy like that w/o turning your head and going for the ball, it’s a penalty. Us, we just to get fix our cars…

Al, I think item #1 was resolved after Atlanta. Steve?

I got #1 taken care of after the December race. Just ask Brendan.
#2 was completely unintentional. Chuck re-entered the track in a controlled fashion and caught up to me quickly. I don’t recall if I was trying to catch a loose race car through 3, but I can assure you that I would not have pushed him - or anyone else - out to the edge like that. My sincere apologies, Chuck. It looks like I went outside on purpose and I didn’t.
#3 is easily resolved. How about the March race at RA?
Steve D.
Just in case you haven’t already figured it out, nobody is ever going to let you forget that you ran a race with the wrong differential. This is a tough crowd…

JP might not be a “current” racer, but he’s a guy with an enviable sudden influx of cash.

Yes indeed, who is this JP character anyway, have we met?

I’m not sure how much JP got for his car, but dang, what I could do with $11k. I could, for example, take a perfectly seriviceable motor and get it rebuilt into a custom high performance non-running motor. Yessiree-bob, the things I could do with $11k.
PS - What is BeerTech’s favorite kind of beer (other than free, of course)?
PPS - That’s funny, Ranger. Let’s shoot a pilot for a new cable series “Punk’d My Ride”…
