everybody did an awesome job at CMP…the kink with standing water is hairy! I figured I could motor around and pass all the guys who spun off, well I guess that nets me dead last! The standing water areas had changed since the last time I ran there, which was 2003…I hit some standing water on the back straight and went into the tires on the right before the kink…after that the car was kinked! That might have had something to do with my lap times on Sunday.

I had alot of fun running with you saturday, we were running close the entire time. Also, the race on saturday you were right on my bumper for a good portion of the race. I was definately sweating. Nice race

Al, based on Mike’s video and the race results it was certainly a close race. I noted that the fast lap times between first and fifth places was only .8 seconds and, as is often the case, a faster lap time did not mean a better finishing position.Great racing.
