CMP enduro

#21

I see that my attempt at a thread hi-jack didn’t work. So, carry on with the CMP enduro discussion.

However, as you read the different post you’ll realize that the enduro is not being used as a race by any of the participants. That is all well and good. The event will serve a different purpose for all involved.

We will have a chance to discuss a “have to attend and really race” enduro at CMP and on a different thread on the board at a later date.

Have fun, Robert Patton

PS Rob is right, $250 split several ways for track time is a good deal. What the heck, get three drivers…allow a hotshoe in your car and use your Trackmate to look at Shoe’s lap times versus yours and a friends times. Worked wonders for Robinson, Taylor and me at Roebling Road in December. We all learned from the skills of Clay and Thomas.

Unfortunately Robert, I’ll be unable to drive your car. I must worry about my own… :stuck_out_tongue:

Yo, Rob…I know you’re good, but we’re all waiting to see your first Spec e30 top three finish.

Regards, Robert (sorry I could not resist the barb) Patton

Hey Rob, if you want help getting that first podium I know a good driver coach you could contact. B)

Just remember I’m in a car that literally costs 1/3 as much as most of the cars in the field. I’ll see you at CMP

He’s not kidding. I’ve seen the car.

1/3 the cost of a Malt Liquor Tech car?

or 1/3 the cost of a normal car?

 are you calling the MLT cars normal???

I don’t know that it’s normal to have a chicken hanging out of the trunk, a frozen possum in the trunk, a squirrel on the cage and a squirt suit… and that’s just Al’s car.

Last time I looked in Travis’ car he had a wiener taped to him e-brake handle.

On second thought… that’s pretty normal

Team Herrington is in for the VIR enduro. Don’t know about the CMP event yet.

Anyone going to be at CMP early on Fri? MLT is running in the enduro and we need 2 more crew guys to help with gas fill-up and fire extinguisher duties. The jobs don’t pay much, but you do get to talk smack to BeerTech when we whoop up on them. They will also provide the beer since the losers b/t BeerTech and MLT buys the beer.:stuck_out_tongue:

Hey guys, I’m planning to be there before the enduro starts, so I can help out with crew work. I wanted to see this enduro thingy in action anyway.

#32

Chuck, Fred Switzer and I haven’t locked in a fire extinguisher guy yet for our team. All we have is a couple maybe’s. We’d love to have someone who could firmly commit to being near our pit when we pull in for fuel. As you probably know, there’s no requirements for clothing nor helmet for the fire extinguisher guy.

Last I heard… there weren’t more than 8 or 9 teams signed up. So my guess is there are going to be a lot of folks available to help out. I’ll be there prior to the enduro, but my first priority will be to crew for JP and Dave in the BeerTech car. As long as you’re not pitting at the same time that they are… I’ll be available to help out.
