What are most people using for clutches? Spec? Centerforce?

Go stock and avoid the explosion.

+1. I talked to mechanics (who race) and racers and everyone recommends stock clutch - not sure what’s going on with e30 ‘race’ clutches on the market but they seem to go ‘kablama’. Only race clutch that gets recommended is "Sacsh race clutch" but it’s mucho $$$ and perhaps overkill for E30

Because there is no increase in HP the stock clutch will hold fine.

Well, there can be an advantage to a "performance clutch" that has nothing to do with how much power the engine makes. In general a performance clutch will have a shorter travel of the pedal between engagement and disengagement.

I believe all the front runners at Nationals were using stock clutches. The stock works just fine and is what we have in both of our cars. We recently had to replace the clutch in the #30 car, but it lasted 2 years of racing.

It it also much easier to modulate a stock clutch than it is a race clutch(puck clutch).

Well i had a clutchmasters. Had i say until it as stephen said EXPLODED in the back straight after turn 2 Mid Ohio.
The clutch actually came through the bell housing and blocked the top bolt to remove the transmission.
I say go stock just deal with the slight slippage at the start.
