Checker Cab for sale

Please see the classified ad. Should you know of anyone looking to get into the sport, this car can run with the best of them. Tell 'em to call at 800-755-1715.

It is either sell this or the 303 car. I can’t maintain all three of them. This one is proven and it is as clean and fresh as when it hit the track last February.

Thanks in advance, Robert Patton

This car is top notch. You should see the underside of this car. Incredible. You won’t find a better prepared car out there.

What ad?

Looks like it is held up in "classified pending." It is not inexpensive, but there is no comparison to the workmanship on the car. Seriously, you can eat off of the undercarriage.

Yes, I know how much $$$ it takes to build a car…I’ve built 3 and the first one was over $15,000. The taxi is for sale at $18,500. New tires/brakes/rotors/windshield with NASCAR tear offs. Every thing else was new February of '06.Engine is a fresh rebuild.

It is a good value for the owner that doesn’t have time or aptitutde to build a car.Hop into a race winner and work on your driving skills.

Regards,Robert Patton

Good luck with the sale Robert! I’d vouch for a Patton-built car any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

Just don’t sell it to anyone really fast!!!

Very slick Robert… I think I’ve figured out your secret now. You keep building Spec E30 cars (more than you need) so you can sell them off and eventually you will have been all or partially responsible for preparation of all of the SE Spec E30’s.

What you’re hiding is the fact that you have wired remote systems into all of the cars you’ve worked on so you can press a button and slow your competitor down to get by them.

It all makes sense now. It explains Skeen’s motor on Sunday (obviously the dead motor was the result of your remote system gone haywire). And it explains why you have trouble defeating the Mid-Atlantic guys when they come down to play (because you don’t have a hand in the building or preparation of their cars).

It’s on Robert… It’s On!

Seriously though… This is a great well sorted car and would recommend it to anyone interested in getting into the series.

Thanks all for the words of encouragement. We all know the labor hours that it takes to build a fully restored car and then to sort it out on track. The price should evevate the other houses in the neighborhood. No need to give things away.

Regards, Robert Patton

Dangit, I was hoping the ad would pop up so I could send it to some folks.

#9

Hmmm, maybe old Carlton should buy it? that way we don’t have to worry about some new guy getting a fast car!!!

#10

That’s not a bad price for a well prepared car.
Pics?

Robert P is a great supporter of the class in all aspects. It’s commendable.

#12

this is a really nice car!

#13

Does it come with the "customer" riding in the back? Does she rock a Nomex purse?

(free bump)

#14

What kind of warranty does this come with?:woohoo:

If anyone doubts how you can spend over $15k on a spec series car, let me know I have a detailed spreadsheet that will show your car is more than a bargain.

haha.

Great car for someone that doesn’t want to do a lot of work and spend a ton of money (and time)building one from scratch.
