Are there any plans to start an assigned car number list for spec e30?

Go to NASA MA website and look at the bottom of the page. There is a list of car numbers for each run group.

So help me understand this…am I to understand that once you register for a race using an unused number, this will be your number going forward for each race thereafter?

Contact your local NASA Region and they can give you the scoop. Numbers are regulated by NASA Regions, not Spec E30.

But in NASA Mid Atlantic, we got together (with the Region’s blessing) with the 944 Cup racers and made a Master Number List, to make it easier in the Autobahn Group. If I remember correctly, a few of our guys changed numbers and a few of their guys did the same.

It works just fine now.

In SE, you can contact Julie Pantas concerning car numbers. There is a form you can submit (with $20) to go ahead and reserve that number for you in the SE region (after she verifies it’s not already reserved).

When talking to her about it, she said if two people register for an event with the same number, then the individual with the most seniority will get the number and the newcomer would have to change theirs.

In The Mid Atlantic region we do have reserved numbers for racers only. This reservation does not apply to any other region. There is no charge for this and the list is posted at www.nasaracing.net
look in the Autobahn group to see what is available

Kelly, Thanks, I have sent an email to the SE region via the website requesting the desired number.
