Car acts funny

#1

Well when I first start the car it seems to run a little rough, but as it gets warm it smoothes out. After a couple of minutes though it stumbles and just barely keeps from stalling. If you pump the gas it will shut off, but will restart to the same slow rough idle. If I let it idle like this for 10min sometimes it stops and the idle goes back to normal.

I think it might be the fuel pump or fuel filter

Any ideas?

Thanks
Greg

my relatively inexperienced guess is that it is cold start enrichment related - do you have a Bentley to work through their driveability troubleshooting section?
Or have a look at the BMW service manual linked in the "Links" section on the left.
thanks,

Tell car to straighten up and act serious.
