BRE / NASA-SE :: "Skeen on Setup Finale" Party

Howdy all,
BRE Motorsports and NASA-SE present the “Skeen on Setup Finale” Party Thursday, April 10th. We have made arrangements to get a copy of the final episode of Setup and plan to project it on a huge screen at the BRE facility in Concord, NC. The party starts at 6pm and will feature munchies, beverages and all of the fun that a normal NASA-SE event has to offer.

Come on out and support our own local racers who have become superstars on TV. 8)

Once again, upstaged by Jim Pantas. And they get to watch the show at 6:00 thanks to Joe (TV) Tripp. Such a deal. If you’se guys televise at 5:00 I can watch it and be back at the Atlanta party by 10;00…

Congratulations to Mike Skeen and I hope ya’ll have a big turn-out to cheer Mike onward.

The 2008 Speed / BRE / NASA-SE Setup party was a resounding success, everyone who attended had fun touring the BRE facilities and partaking in the food and beverages. When the sun set and darkness arrived the last two episodes of Setup were displayed on the dyno room wall at BRE. All motorsports enthusiasts old and young enjoyed the celebration despite the outcome! :expressionless: Here are some pictures, click on any of them to see the whole collection of pictures taken during the Party. 8)

Thanks again to B.R.E., Jim & Julie, and JoeTV for putting all this together. Knowing what the outcome would be, I almost told them not to bother, but I’m glad I didn’t. I think everyone had lots of fun and it should be great exposure for everyone involved whenever the webisode hits the interweb.

Ya, but be nice. It takes a lot of experience to be able to talk extemporaneously without without a bunch of uhm’s and aah’s pauses. Put any regular person in front of a camera and the best we can hope for is to not come off like a complete idiot. So if someone sticks a camera in your face and you manage to come off like a reasonable guy, it’s a big score.
