With all of those ECUs, you do not have a 173?

Oh, and Steve- all those ECU’s sitting on that shelf are probably from 1979 528i’s that have probably been there since 1987.
If you need a -173 ECU, I’ve got one FS.

Kelly Childress, a racer in the SE, had this problem with his car. An ECU swap solved the problem. I forget what ECU he had and what year his car is, but maybe he will chime in (maybe if a new thread is started about it).

I have a 524. It is top speed limited and was also confirmed by Dave White who drove the car in Feb.
In Feb, I borrowed a 173 from Carlton.
I borrowed a 153 from Al this weekend and am blaming that for my slower speed this past weekend
