In what way did the SE30 series creators so displease the gods of NASA that all its followers would be sentenced to the penance of having to reinstall the dashes in their cars? I hate this thing.

It don’t have to be purdy, and it don’t have to be able to hold up a drink. Hell, run the right side net through it and it’ll hold it up for you!

Doesn’t it increase the chance of leg injury by having the dash in the car?

As long as you wear your seatbelt you’ll be ok. Buckle up, it’s the law.

As it turns out, the dash, although reinforced by sheet steel, is highly deformable and can easily be made to misconform to any previously located mounting holes or HW. Ask me how I know.
