Beer Tech SUCKS!

#1

Just kidding - HAHA!

Really enjoyed meeting the new folks in Spec E30, and hanging out with AJ, Sasha, and the other BeerTech guys at VIR. Don’t you wish that margaritas were always on James?!

It’s great to have you guys on board, and I’m looking forward to doing it all again in a month.

Next time you pull your hood out on your jacket, think of BeerTech.

Who is AJ? Its two letters for God’s sake. . . . JP.

It was great to meet all you Salazar homoz. Maybe one day we’ll be near enough to the front of the pack to see you guys in the distance. . . .

That was awesome of James to sport for the dinner, but I’ll never have margaritas there again

HAHA nice post AJ…

You chumps are lucky I was at the other end of the table. I have plenty of great excuses as to why Im slow and wouldnt mind explaining them all to you guys.

Im really going to try and make the March VIR event, I may be the only Beer Tech-er there but Im not afraid to be in anyones way so watch it.

Well, with Scott out for awhile I guess I’ll need to fill in to be an honorary Beer Tech member. We’ll have to run three wide to keep you blue and white boys from lapping us! I was so excited on Sunday when I saw Alex May sitting in the grass, thinking my wonderful strategy of driving slow and steady 100% on-track in the rain would finally get me past someone from my start in the last row. I stayed in front of him for about 1/2 a lap, getting passed back before 14 on the last lap.

I’ll keep drinking with you in the meantime, but I think it’s going to take another couple of years before I actually race with you. We should make it a point to bring James along every weekend!

I just wanted to add that all the new cars look too good. It makes me want to get creative with my paint job. I guess we can try something new with my dads car.

D’OH!!! I knew there was a "J" in it…AJ…JP…m’bad. I think I get a free pass thought since you can’t expect another man to remember your name when he’s drinking. It’s a man rule. Plus, after finding 2 more tortillas in my hood and pockets, I’d say we’re definitely even!

Maybe in March we can make it down to the Reverend Al Taylor esq.'s for some fart-lighting and jello wrestling.

And good luck to Scott on getting your car back together. Let us know if you run into any snags!!

While we might not have quite the turnout for the March/April race, let’s plan to get a good photo of all the cars on the skidpad. I had wanted to do it last weekend but with all the racing, we were busy every minute.

The comments on the "Need Advice" thread got me wondering. What is the spec beer for the series?

I know Travis and Al will lobby for th OE 800.

BeerTech doesn’t really spec a brand of beer.

We do however support the notion of downgrading as the night goes on.

step 1.) Start with a quality import or micro brew for the first 2 or 3 beers

step 2.) substitute it with PBR of Coors Light for the rest of the night.

step 3.) enjoy

Step 4, shenanigans begin, work on particular car comes to a grinding halt if not finished.
