Yeah, well, I set that track record on a warm day, with a weak motor, and old tires…and I wasn’t wearing pants.:stuck_out_tongue:

Sounds like it was a blast, and I’m extremely jealous that you were racing this past weekend. So how low did you go? I couldn’t find results online.

As of last night, Saturday’s results were posted on Mylaps.com. Nothing real earth shattering, I think both days I was in the low 1:09’s but couldn’t break into the 1:08’s. Maybe I should have tried the whole pants off thing… Yeah we had a good time, wish more of you guys were out there, it just wasn’t the same without yins. Here’s a shot of me and Sean coming around T-11 onto the front straight.

BTW, do I need to put door panels back on. Got NASCAR style bars protruding into driver’s door. What do I do there?

tomzzy[/quote]

If you still have door glass in there during the race, you need a cover panel, otherwise not since you have nascar style bars.
cheers,
bruce

Jonny-boy, you’re aaaaalright. I’ll bet that if I was there to push you, that you’d be in the 1:07’s

Really looks like it was a blast. My weekend recap included Bed Bath and Beyond and Olive Garden. We didn’t have time for Home Depot.

I’ll see you at Summit!!

Nope, I’m doing Rockingham instead. You guys will have the crowds. . but we’ll have the track time. 4 races in one weekend.

I need as much track time as I can get!

Like Jonny said, it was a real fun weekend. Only rained a little and every session was on a dry track and everything was pretty laid back in general. I had a little drama in Saturday’s qualifying when my throttle cable hardware somehow came undone and left me with no power between turns 4-5. Luckily for me, I was too lazy to remove my cruise control cable and was able to use the hardware from it. On Sunday, Jon held back a bit during qualifying and we went back and forth a bunch, it became obvious to me where I was losing time to him. Too bad figuring out where it is happening doesn’t instantly fix it. Can’t wait for Hyperfest, only a few more weeks

Not me, I needed a new battery for the camera and of course it shows up on Monday. I don’t know if Jon had a camera or not.

I didn’t get any either. My camera is on the fritz. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve lost patience with it.
