What a weekend, great weather, lots of track time, awesome track. I got so much track time my neck was killing me. There was 1 hour of "touring" at lunch, I was the only person to really take advantage of it even though there were lots of racers in the HDPE groups. I am paying big $$$ to Osborne to be my personal coach so yall better look out. Camping out at the track was great, I was really able to relax the whole weekend. I drove the bronze "e" school car the 500+ miles there and back, used 1/2 quart of oil and got 28 MPG on the road. We are doing the rear subframe/arm/diff mounts this week and have stripped the interior. The car should be a full fledged Spec e30 by Oct. The tow rig bug that affected Carter seems to have spread to Vic and Steve…I am debating what I will drive to Summit next week.
I am looking forward to the nationals, I think Mid O is a great choice for the event.
