Great job Guys! Was a great read on what I’m getting into!

Nice cars too!

Yes, Scott Lear did a great job.

He sent several Grassroots Motorsports stickers to me and I have one on each side of my car. I like to support those who support us.

If anyone needs a pair, email your address to me and I’ll mail them to you.

Stickers are also free for the asking via the magazine web site.

Those guys at GRM are a good bunch of people. Scott and Per have raced with us in the MA region. I spent some time at the BBQ in Ohio with Tim and at CMP with David.

Speaking of stickers, if you guys need anything let me know.

I’m starting to setup files for the different classes NASA runs. I’ve cut some 944 Spec and numerous race #s. Prices are real fair as well. My site needs updating, but check it out. It is for the vinyl type, I can only do single color stuff and I have most colors.

Rich,
You should talk with Carter before offering any of the spec e30 logo stickers.
cheers,

Rich:

If you can do the Spec E30 logo decals, that works for me. Currently, I have to get them cut, drive to the shop to pick them up, drive to the post office to mail them, etc.

I’ll send an email to you so we can discuss it.

Congrats on the article. It really put you guys on the map. I am about to jump up to road racing after three years of autocross. I was considering Spec Miata because SCCA races at Watkins Glen and other close tracks. The article gave me pause to consider the Spec e30 as an alternative. I noticed the author slammed Spec Miata about the $ being spent and the cheating. Do you see SCCA picking up your class any time in the future ? Will NASA come up north any time soon ?
Thanks

My mailman apparently doesn’t like car magazines… I still have yet to get the current issue of GRM… and my copies of Footnotes, Roundel and der Bayerische all come 3-4 weeks after they are dropped in the mail.

Paul,

NASA has a region up where you live. The Spec E 30 Series can run at any NASA event. Also, several guys I race with drive down from NY to race at Summit point and VIR. It’s a long haul, but the racing’s worth the drive. No Chance that SCCA will pick up a Spec E30 class. Our cars already fit under an ITS catagory. My advice, build a Spec E30 and run with NASA NE/MA. You’ll have a blast. Stay away from miatas. They look and drive like chick cars, not to mention the E30 will cost alot less to build.

Thanks Carter. Got your email and sent one back.

Thanks Carter, Are you going to Rockingham? If so, I guess I could pick them up there if you haven’t already mailed them. If you have…thanks.

I’d like a pair of GRM stickers. I check their site and couldn’t find the place to order them.
I might need NASA and Toyo stickers too.
BTW, the article was great and closed the deal on which series I want to race.

Both days are full of family events. I haven’t mailed them but I’ll get them out asap.

Have fun and give us a good report on the race and on your fuel pickup.

Just call them on the phone or email them.

Gabe at GRM hooked me up with a copy of the issue and some extra bumper stickers. (For the trailer, maybe?)

BTW, Carter, it might be worth a shot to see if GRM would provide a low-res PDF of the article (once the next issue goes to press) so that it can be hosted here on the SpecE30 site (and maybe even the NASA MA and National websites).
