Hey Carter,
Just got my June issue of GRM, and enjoyed reading the interview…Congrats…
Article in GRM...
Ditto! Great write up Carter. And Brain got a photo op of the "Fly Navy" car on the previous page in the Toyo ad!

Ditto ! I was also glad to see SpecE30 ( and Chris C.) mentioned as one of the ‘budget’ options in another article (same June issue mag though). Good exposure.
Igor
P.S. speaking of SpecE30 and exposure anyone paying attention to SpecE30 mentions in recent ‘debates’ on the CCA club racing list (not meaning to stir trouble )

I posted a comment on BF.com about Spec E30 as an affordable alternative to racing prepared or modified e36. It seems that a lot of people are taking interest in the series. It will be interesting to see how it grows in the near future.

Thanks Brenden. Yes, getting more exposure is a good thing and the guys at GRM seem to be very interested in our series.

Igor:
That’s Carlton’s car in the budget racer article. You can’t miss THAT green.
And I haven’t been on the BMW Club Racing list for a while. I dropped off mainly because of the constant complaining about the rules and the changes that were supposed to make people happy but actually made things worse, in my opinion.
Maybe I should get back on, just to see what they’re talking about…

Thanks Ken. Let’s all keep spreading the word.
We don’t want this thing to explode but good, healthy and steady growth, is working so far.

This seems like a good time to mention that I was thinking about making a SPEC E30 promo video for this site. The only problem is the footage is all from inside our car. Does anybody else have some close racing footage from previous races? If so send it to me and I can make a video that will give the people that are interested in the series a first person perspective on the racing. Let me know what you guys think!
Oh yea congratulations carter on the grand-am cup deal, that’s exactly what i’m looking to do in a couple years.

I think it is a great idea…If there is no footage I will try to get some at Hyperfest. I am strictly a video amatuer though

Rob Keener is pictured, in James Clay’s E36, talking to Chris Cobetto… and I (unfortunately) rated a dubious tangential reference in the ‘So, you want to go racing…’ article.
