Anyone in Florida running Spec E30?

I am building one up, but wanted to know if there is any competition in South Florida?

NASA doesn’t have a very strong following in FL yet but just give it time. I do know there is a good possibilty of another South FL car being put together for the '07 season. Not definte yet, but I can tell you that if it does get built it will be a very nice & fast car just based on my experience with the individual.

There is a possibilty. He would build it, but it would be driven by his sister crystal. We’ll see.

I’m thinking about heading south for an event or two next season. I’ve done Sebring, Daytona, and Moroso and would like to get back down there to race.

I am planning to build a car but I simply cannot afford it right now. Seeing that a spec E30 can run with the KP crowd at CCA races motivates me to shoot for the BMW club race in January at Sebring as a goal to debut but I am going to have to get real lucky financially (like winning the lottery)between then and now.
