I am curious how the race turned out at Hyperfest on Saturday. Also want to hear any other stories, rumors or lies that went on at the event.
Any news on Hyperfest?
I am sure Carter will give a write up but the cliffs are that Carter got Vic for the win Sat and Cobetto fended off steve D. and vic for Sundays win. Steve drove a really great race

Which one of you guys - car # is Steve? I was there… Hey, here’s an idea, why don’t one of you doods make a list with the car # and name of driver next to it… .that way rookies like me can tell ya’ll apart… I hung around the Spec E30 area on Sunday didn’t get a chance to talk to ya’ll … i did meet a really nice, and very attractive woman with jeans shorts, and a cowboy hat. But she ain’t no racer - she’s a in "chick" in every sense of the word… (got the right ass-ets)… Hot women are always a good thing!

I’ll post my in car video of sunday’s race up later. I qualified second and finished second to cobetto with carter and carlton right on my tail. It sounds boring but there was a ton of traffic and alot of scary passing goin on. The video tells the story. I’m sure carter will have a right up as well. It was the most fun and most nerve racking race i’ve had yet. I wasn’t sure what position I was going to finish until the very last turn.
P.S. I just want to add that me and vic had a very exciting battle for second place. I had a blast that’s all I can say!

I’m not trying to correct you but just to make things clear, brandon smith didn’t show up and scotty ferguson was also there but left saturday after a 240sx ended his weekend by slamming into his right front fender in qualifying.

I should have been more clear and less lazy…that was cut out of the pre-registration database. I knew all that info was easy to cherrypick. An aside…the guy driving the 240 SX was a guy I graduated HS with 20 years ago and have not seen since that graduation day.

Weekend was a blast, as usual, despite some sub-par driving on Sunday.
I spent most of Saturday under the car, trying to fix a toe-problem that I noticed when I chewed through a couple tires on Friday (FATT).
I finally got it all settled, and managed to win the pole for Saturday’s race. It was a little crazy, as we caught the 944’s within 2 laps. I was way ahead, but just wasn’t on my game, and Carter slowly caught me. I held him off for 8-9 laps, and he finally got me in turn 1. I just didn’t have the consistency to bust out fast lap after fast lap. Oh well. I still finished second.
Han won the award for best spin, and best video.
Sunday involved a lot less wrenching, and I managed the pole again. Come race-time, however, I got all out of sorts, despite a good launch at the standing start. Chris Cobetto and Mike Davidson took me in turn one of the first lap, and I battled with Mike for a few laps. I had an off in turn 10 (which I butchered the entire race) and finished 5th.
Good time. good time.
Can’t wait to do it all again at VIR!!

Man, I hope mid-ohio doesn’t take any racers away from the fun down in HOTLANTA - I’m sure it’s always a good time at the finest track in the U.S. I’m gonna hit up Mid-Ohio to get my good practice in for Nationals though. Hopefully both events will attract fields - we have enough drivers to do this now 
Han’s video isn’t up anywhere - he doesn’t have the software to do it, but one of our racing buddies may get it online for him…he has 2 highlights that are GREAT!!!
