What are you guys paying for you Annual Tech?

My local Nasa approved center just quoted me $100

Sounds a little extreme to me for what amounts to a 20 min walk around.

I think an annual tech at the track costs $40.

$100 sounds like robbery…

Wow! I have had several tech’s done over the years on track cars race cars etc. All of them have been free. Including this years annual tech at my NASA approved shop.

NASA is nice enough to still perform these at the track for people that dont have an approved shop near by. The $40 charge at the track is in place to discourage a ton of people from lining up for tech Friday night and Saturday morning.

Find another shop.

Charging is new this year in our area, I think you used to have to agree to not charge to be an approved shop but too many no shows and unprepared people…
I did 9 cars in the past month and only 1 of them involved a charge because I went to their location at 9pm, two nights before the event!
