Couple of things to keep in mind…Read the Rule book closely. If in doubt, ask before making a modification.

I assume you made this comment for a reason. Is there something that looks illegal in the pics?
No not at all…As far as I can see from the pics it looks like a good build. when Dave and I built our cars we kept a copy of the rules at the shop and had no problems keeping things legal. Unfortunately other builders have had, what they thought were good ideas, did a lot of work making changes, only to find out that it’s not allowed and had to change things back.
No ulterior motives, just friendly advice…you probably didn’t need. Just didn’t want to see you take two steps forward and three back…like some others have before you…
When’s your estimated first track event?
I assume you’ve got your NASA comp lic. I think I read that you used to race in another series?

My car is coming along also. My cage was built in Augusta by Brian Weeks, Augusta Transmission Clinic. Very pleased with the results.

The door panel hasn’t been completed, but we are getting there.

We got the suspension put together today. We also got the clutch, pressure plate and transmission back in the car. The Rogue shifter from Bimmerworld looks like a nice piece.

It is a new seat, $1,200 ouch! More than I wanted to spend but IMO, this is definately one of those areas where you get what you pay for.
Well it is winding down. All thats left to do is get an alignment and lay on some vinyl and put in some roll cage padding. here are some pics.

you guys will not be disapointed in spec e30, I am looking forward to the report from RA, hopefully we can race with yall at Rockingham in Oct.

Thanks Al, The car will undoubtedly come down to the wire being completed on time. No time for paint, but I do believe it will be as mechanically perfect as the car can be. Here are a few of the latest pics.
