I will split time between MA and SE Regions.

Did my comp school with NASA Southeast in Oct at "The Rock". Also ran my 1st race there. Signed up for CMP in Feb.

Putting finishing touches on car now (paint, bushings, dash bar, etc.) Can’t wait to mix it up on the track!

#6

Cage goes in Mid January. All suspension is sitting in the garage waiting for the head to be finished being rebuilt. I still need a cheap open trailer if anyone knows of one for sale.

If all goes as planned, I’ll be doing the comp school in Feb. at VIR.

Acquired car in Nov, some interior out, suspension bits on order, cage work will be done by Dave Ellingsworth in the early spring. Probably do my first race at HyperFest.

#9

Kelly Childress
#168
Southeast Region

#10

Dwight Varnes, central PA. Car is together and tested once. Only items remaining are cage (ordered this week) which should be done by Feb VIR and adding seat and safety gear. Then it desperately needs paint!
May or may not go for a comp license this year. Would like to, but we’ll see what other factors conspire…if it’s halfway through the season then I probably won’t, as it’s not as cost effective. 2008 fer sure. But, something tells me waiting that long may be too painful.

#11

Ed Davidson - MA region - #29. '87 4 door, 160k. Car purchased in Oct. All suspension, exhaust, etc. complete. Going to Dave Ellingsworth for cage this weekend. Then will complete rest of safety stuff, with hopes of attending comp school at VIR in Feb.

EVERYBODY PLEASE UPDATE YOUR MEMBER PROFILES WITH THIS INFO ALSO! Then it becomes searchable and sortable.

Maybe we should start up one of the those Frappr map sites. I’ll look into that.

Tom White, West Virginia (Oh/Ind Region).

Cage 80% complete at installer now. Lots more to do. Ordering suspension stuff now. Yet to get comp license. Start racing sometime 2007 season.

#20

Jeff Puras, Dacula GA
The build is well along. Cage is in, not painted yet, suspension 99% installed, just need to hook up rear bar and get an alignment. Safety items need to be installed and a proper seat would be nice too. Planning to hit the track in Feb. Look out Patton!! Not you Laura, the other one.
