87 325is preservation society

I started with rusty 4 door for a reason. The usual excuse is that the two door is easier to get in and out of. If I burn to death because my door is a few inches shorter my final thought will be that at least it wasn’t an 87 325is. Maybe the older guys here who were in their 20s or 30s when the car came out just won’t appreciate it until it’s gone.

Sorry, I’m confused about what point you’re making here. I would have preferred a 4 door. They were in phenomenally short supply when I was shopping. I ended up with an '87 325is. C’est la vie.
