As much as I like hanging out in the grass beside “Lake Anthony” with you all, I have gone ahead and purchased a spot on the pavement for this event.
Baller :). I can’t even bring myself to pay for the practice day, I’ll be out in the weeds.
is there a particular spot in the weeds we should congregate on? also will weeds hold enclosed trailers? trying to remember what the weeds looked like when it rained last time i was there
We usually park in between the second and third row behind the skid pad thing. Michael and a couple other guys get their enclosed trailers in, but I’m not sure how we are going to fit 20 cars.
Turns out if Elephant Motorsports goes I’ll be on the paddock living the baller life with Anthony B). I would say the vast majority of the Spec E30 racers will be in the grass. It will be harder to get the grass area down by the showers at Nationals and if you want to stay together you probably have a better chance going futher up. At Nationals the grass area is a lot more populated than a regional event.

Hey we are outpacing the Spec Miatas. I counted 25, we need to get to 30 to get the bigger toyo bucks. $4000 for first down to $750 for 5th, if we have 30 starters.
Whats the biggest field we have ever had? IFU3 had 30 some right? I remember 28 at VIR back in the day.

i think we had 32 last fall at cmp (ifu weekend). sure would be nice to have 30+ at nats, not that i stand a chance of getting any prize money but i’m hoping the winners will be grateful enough to buy me a steak or something.
… will be grateful enough to buy me a steak or something.
I won’t be buying, but I think you may want to clarify that “or something” part. Ohio is the home of Bil-Jac dog food after all.
I just signed up and Jon Allen should be on board before the price goes up again on Sunday. Looking forward to getting back to MO. We have rental seats available in our winning cars. Inbox me for info…
