Wow - absolutely fantastic. Great job guys - very entertaining.

Am I just ridiculously biased, or does Carter completely take out a white car at 2-minutes into the video(from the 2007 race)???

Congrats again to Simon! Looking forward to more great races with you in 2009. It was a real bummer to loose 4th gear 1/2 way through the National.

Ouch. Watching that reminds me how frustrating that whole week was :(. It was a good video though and congrats again to the top finishers.

edit: I saw that speedcast also did a vid. for 944 cup at hyperfest. That would be cool if we could get some regional races too (IFU3??)

I agree with Robert… It just brings back painful memories especially when the announcers incorrectly mentioned when my race ended.

so, on the second last lap, Carter tries to pass the miata and can’t make it stick, then Simon goes on to take second. If you were the Miata driver, would you have let the out-of-class cars by? (I’m asking what you would have done, not what you think the miata driver should have done)
thanks,
bruce

Yes he cut across the track and ran into our car. I was pissed at first since I was standing at the track spotting where it happened. In restrospect it was a racing incident… it happens. I am 100% sure it was not intentional.

Great race - Mike, Simon and Carter all ran damn good races to finish on the podium. Looked like some great and fun racing. Walter, thanks for sponsoring the vid!

I have no doubt that it was unintentional. Was Carter DQ’d? Did he pit? I’m curious, because I was DQ’d for hitting him in a similar situation - something I thought should also have been ruled a racing incident.
