10-29/30 in California

This past weekend one SpecE30 ran in the BMW CCA Club Race at Laguna Seca and one at the NASA SpecE30 event at Thunderhill.

The 318is at Laguna did very well. Best lap time was a 1:53.7. There was one other LP car in the event and while he was having difficulties his best lap was a 1:54.0. I think the driver, who rented the car, will win the LP Class Championship for the Pacific region since this was a premier event and awarded double points.

The 325is at Thunderhill impressed many. I’ll update with details later.

Very sorry I had to miss this one, moreso after reading the posts from the CR list. However, I had tickets to the Jimmy Buffett concert in Vegas & had to go. I did pick up a nice University of Margaritaville bumper sticker that folks gridded behind me can enjoy.
