Since the classifieds don’t get much traffic, I thought I’d post here.

NOT SPEC E30 LEGAL
------- 4.10 LSD -------
I am swapping a 3.73 LSD into my convertible this weekend to complete my manual trans swap/suspension/bushings/brakes overhaul-a-rama.

The 4.10 LSD coming out is available to you folks before I put it on bf.c. The car has 150k on the stopped odo (last mileage recorded by Carfax was 141k in 2006, so I am guessing it is a 175k-ish diff). Drives great, no unusual noises. I am going to sacrifice acceleration for fuel economy and highway comfort.

I don’t particularly want to ship it unless you are paying top dollar.

PM here or call me at fo oh fo fo fo two five five one oh.

Wouldn’t you want to keep as a spare for your Spec car?

Simon -

I’ll give you a pass since you are still in that new baby, sleep deprived state. But man, that was low hanging fruit. You could have done so much more.

Did Gasman hack into your account?

This reminds me… I have a 3.73 non LSD that is free to a good home. The output shafts are removed but 15min’s of effort would have them back in. This is the diff that Molitor put on my car after he swiped my LSD diff.

A 4.10 diff would make a great 6th-place trophy. Just a thought…

Swapping a 4.10 for a 3.73? That’s a stretch DeVinney. Driving an e30 instead of the pcar, well, that’s a reasonable argument… at least in the acceleration department.

A 4.10 open diff is worth about as much as a plastic trophy. The LSD ones seem to go for a bit more.

The last one I had I traded straight up for a 3.73 LSD to somebody on this site for their Lemons car, but I never asked for delivery. Since my current spare diff is going in my daily driver, I should figure out a time to get that 3.73…

Steve, I can use it. How much?
