C’mon. Late fees are in affect and we have 7 (seven) car signed up for summit next week! These people have some explaining to do:
Carter
Johnny
Skip
Cobetto
Kappy
Zim
Furguson
Davidson
Schmid
J. Bennet
Herrington
Goldthwaite
any other slackers I am forgetting
WTF
I was hoping it would be fixed by now.
What’s your excuse?
I dont recognize Lysczek, Alderfer, or Mahoney. Are they rookies or from another region?
The way its looking now if skeen has mechanicals or falls asleep while leading I could win! :woohoo:
I am going to Watkins Glen with a renter, I cant pass up the Glen in October. Its awesome!! Mahoney is a renter (raced at VIR in July) and Alderfer was a renter who just cancelled.

Take the rain tires… it rained, rained, misted, fogged, rained and clouded for the club racing at O’fest last weekend.
My qualifying Friday was cancelled because there was a cloud sitting over the track and the corner workers couldn’t see us (never mind the rain). Saturday am race, rain. Saturday pm race it dried out. Sunday am race, more rain. Sunday pm race - cancelled due to more clouds on the track.
The killer was that on Saturday as I was racing in the rain, it was dry down in the Village of Watkins Glen. Go figure…
Have fun! I hope your weather is better! The Glen is an awesome track B) Flat out from T1 to the bus stop baby:woohoo:

LOL!
But that only works if it’s foggy in the morning… not if you show up for the 8:30 racer’s meeting and THEN it goes to crap:huh: I would have loved to sleep in…
Carter’s in but someone else dropped out. I assume cobetto will be there as sean says.
That means 8
Yes, it’s a bit weak.
I think there are a few factors at work here, and we have seen some of them in past years, at this time of the season.
- We’ve been to Summit a few times this year.
- Racing budgets are getting a little thin.
- The economy isn’t great.
- Crash damage is a factor - Kappy.
- Jon Allen is involved in his rental program and can’t race that weekend, he tells me.
However, with the new pavement, I’m really looking forward to a good weekend. And I’m eager to see how my R888’s from Mid Ohio will do. They were just about perfect for the championship race and according to my records, they should stay strong for at least one more weekend. Burning-up old RA1’s in practice helps.
I told Carlton that if he’ll let me take the big trailer, I’ll take his car as well. He’ll be at the Annapolis Boat show Friday and I’m trying to convince him to drive to Summit for Saturday and Sunday.
And after Skeen didn’t checkout on me at Mid Ohio, I’ll try to step-up my racing at Summit as well.
