WTB: USED RA1's

If anyone is looking to get rid of / sell / donate (:blink: ) their old RA1’s, please let me know! I desperately need them for HPDE’s as my Falkens SUCK!

I need the spec size 205/50r15. I’ll consider any condition, as I’m trying to be cheap & not spend a mint for new tires just yet.

I would like to get 'em prior to my next track event at VIR on April 21/22

Do you have any interest in some used RA-1’s mounted up to a set of glossy black powder coated (NOT painted) bottle caps? The tires still have some life in them. I’d be looking for $280 for the wheels and tires (I could send pics). I got them for rain tires, but then I was too cheap to ever buy new, full-tread tires!:huh:

Are you doing CMP? Tom and I may have afew extras, but not sure at this point.

I’m not going to ba able to make it to CMP. (Flying to Cali for my Grandmother’s 90th birthday!)

Keep me in mind tho if you’re going to come up to Summit point, or VIR again!

Dan, when do you need them? With the R888 switch coming up soon I’m going to have to get rid of my rains. At this point they’re still mounted but I’ve only used them for 2 wet sessions so they’re pretty much brand new.

Need them? I needed them on Friday since I was at Lime Rock in a down pour. I have never gone that slow on a track before. the rear end wanted to jump out if I just looked at the throttle. I was on all season street tires.

I guess I will not need them again till Hyperfest at Pocono i think that is June or July, but the sooner the better. I have to spend the money before the wedding, or else then it is “our” money and I will have work thru the accountant:P .

Lime Rock in the rain doesn’t sound too fun.
If you don’t need them until hyperfest (June 21-22 but at Summit not Pocono), I’ll have them off by then. I think Phil’s is going to be going to the May 31st race at Pocono, so I’ll probably switch everything over to the R888s then. I guess when the time comes, I’ll check to see if you still need them.
