Okay I probably know the answer but…
After Roebling I noticed an L-shaped crack (about 2" long on each leg of the L). It’s low on the left edge of the windshield (behind the roll cage so it’s not blocking my vision at all).
A forum thread last year talked about the 50-50 rule but I’m not sure how this applies. Anyway, would this pass Tech or not?
Windshield crack?
I’m not a tech person, but I don’t see a problem. Get one of those windshield repair kits from Auto Zone and you probably won’t notice it. Trust me - you will need to replace it later - we’ve been through 3 in 2 years.

The crack will grow eventually. I ran “The Rock” in the Cobalt and by the end the chip turned into a crack that went across the whole windshield. I was a bit worried it would shatter but it worked out for me. I never saw anything that said I couldn’t run but I’d look into replacing it soon.

I believe it was your (or Mike’s?) video from Nationals; I dang near fell out of my chair ducking that rock! “Whack!”

Sounds like a good idea but won’t that make the Tech inspector just a little suspicious?
On the back straight at VIR I’ve had the windshield trim from Mike’s windshield fly of and hit my windshield!
