Why I missed RRR

Turn one mayhem happens at LeMons too :woohoo:

Bob Sheids was in the car when that happened. He wasn’t happy

I know I’ll be catching some crap from Reverend Al but LeMons is just so much fun. It’s practice for turn 11 and 14 once a minute.

We ruptured a hard brake line at the T fitting above the diff (stupid northern cars) Saturday which sidelined us for quite a while but Sunday went well and if our exhaust hangers hadn’t failed 10 minutes before the checker we would have finished no problem.

I’m putting Team Darwin Wrenching on notice that they are going to receive a world class beat down in September B)

FYI the new Falken Azenis 615K is a hell of a tire!! Also our team is 2 for 2 at having the driver’s side rear wheel come off on track

Re. the world class beat down of Team Darwin Wrenching. Darwin Wrenching would like to point out that we’re on the same team, not opposing teams. That means we share parts, skills, beer, victory, and your girlfriends.

 Yes but team orders are to let the drivers duke it out on track, with no contact of course B) Nice try on sharing girlfriends

But if I must I’ll bring the girls:)

Just so you know… the #11 Team Darwin Wrenching Bimmerworld Speed World Challenge Hypothalamus Racing No Cheap Beer BMW ran GREAT at Barber this weekend (we terrified some M3s in BMWCCA race school). See you in September…

I laugh every time I think of the BMW CR candidates when they first laid eyes on our Lemons car rapidly approaching in their rear view mirror.

Greg. Re. “Team order”. Our team orders are see how we can bamboozle your drivers into doing our wrenching.

Team #11 driver. Gee, replacing that looks really hard and dirty.
Team #12 driver. I’ve done that before. No problem.
Team #11 driver. I dunno, that looks hard. Could you show me how? You know, just how to get started. While I chat up your girlfriend?

What is all this talk about fixing cars? We both chose to run the hated E30 so we could avoid wrenching on the car all weekend. But since Scott is the Darwin Wrenching team captain I’m sure the # 11 car will break at some point during the race, and I will be happy to help you ladies fix it!! I’m not saying I will tighten every nut and bolt in the process B) Plus I’ve got Bob Sheilds and you guys have Jim !! What could go wrong??

BTW: I don’t see Darwin Wrenching on the teams list for September. That race is going to fill up quickly you guys might want to get on that!!

one more thing!! I’m getting a garage for this race so if you guys are planning to paddock next to us you should make the same arrangements.
