Tom and I are looking for one to buy.
Al Taylor? Travis? I have that stock white 325is that I bought from Travis that could be part of the deal if anyone wants a street E30 or another race car base.

I look forward to the triumphant return of the Halls to SpecE30.
There was a guy here on the forums last month that was trying to sell a car that was somewhere in the build process. The car was getting it’s cage put in when he wrote the posts.
you still have the red car right? if memory serves tom and i did a few laps together at vir not long ago.
also, i’ll trade you my car for the boss
Classifieds still have at least 3 listed that are either SpecE30 or close. If you are looking to get rid of the stock 325is, I might be interested in it.
this guy has one
SPEC E30 Race Car For Sale
Owner and Contact: Steve Villata stevev@grunners.com
$8500 or $10,000 with my trailer.
new items replaced or added in last 24 months:
Full Spec E30 cage by TC DESIGN, includes angled bar across roof.
Regular X door bars (not nascar style).
Car retains door panels and power windows (which DO work)
AKG engine / transmission mounts
New coolant expansion tank and cap
Rebuilt shifter
New flex disc
Z3 shift lever, bushing, etc
New front wheel bearings
Power steering REMOVED
AKG diff mount and gasket
LSD diff installed (3.73)
Crank scraper

AKG subframe and bushings, etc…
new rotors / hawk blue pads + spares
fuel filter

spec springs (from valley motorworks)
Ireland engineering front and rear swaybars
front camber plates (valley motorworks design)
spacers (eibach??)… I actualy don’t remember the size… details…
aluminum radiator
electric fan, on thermostat and also manual switch in cockpit
kill-switch
window net (never used, but a bit dirty)
G force 5 point belts.
momo stearing wheel.
fire extinguisher
nifty front hood latch on OUTSIDE of car (see photos)
SEAT: negotiable… have a couple different options… my seat is cobra full
containment, really large (I am a heavy guy) but I also have set of narrower
normal size seats
had car weight one time and it was I think about 2836 lbs with me in it (approx
270 lbs) and I think 1/2 tank gas…
dynoed at Thill at 139HP and 131 ft lbs torque at the wheels.
2 sets of wheels, extra control arms (both new and used), extra tie rods,
distributer cap, rotor, pads, belt, plugs, etc etc…
The only thing about the car that I KNOW NEEDS TO BE CHANGED (and maybe part of
why it handles so well !!) is that I am NOT running spec front shocks. We cut
the tubes by 1/2 inch and are using VW GOLF shock absorbers (they are slightly
shorter). This gives the car a little more travel and a slightly softer front
suspension that does not bottom out and hit the bump-stops. Great for DE though
it does eat tires, but NOT spec legal of course.
I HAVE the original correct strut . shock tubes (i dont know the proper term for
them) and the shock absorbers for spec e30… they just need to be reinstalled.

Yep, still have red car (mine) but we are looking for at least one, maybe 2 others.
Sorry Dude, Boss is staying put!
Yep, responded to the one in Culpepper VA but haven’t heard back. Figured car was gone.
Your old white car was for sale not long ago and I do remember Al’s #12 silver car was for sale.
I am with Chris (King Tut) post up the details of the stock car. I am always looking at street cars.
Don
You can buy mine
Downside - still has ETA and 2.9 diff
Downside - needs bushings
Upside - I have the diff in the garage
Upside - car is complete and annual tech’d and only 5 secs off the Lap-record pace at BWRP.
Make an offer
Jeff, got a brand new car that is proven in three races…the magic 8 ball car.
It isn’t the cheapest, but it is brand new throughout.
Call and we’ll talk.
RP 800-755-1715.
Jeff - there is a good chance mine will be up for sale shortly. Maybe making a change at work that will take away the time to race.
I can give you a lot of details and probably post it in the classifieds later this week. BRE motor, recent transmission, 4 sets of wheels, ton of spares - extra engine, transmission, etc…
Robert,
My father might be interested in the “magic 8 ball”. You mind e-mailing me some specs and maybe a picture or two? My e-mail is allen.garner@tirecenters.com Thanks, ALLEN
