I’ll be driving by DD E30 (SpecE30 is being worked on) but I am guessing AJ is bringing his SpecE30 car. How do we find you on the track?

Jeremy, look forward to meeting you. My E30 is black with red/blue rally stripes with Valley Motorwerks logo on rear quarters.

Igor / Chris, I am going to helping crew for one of the enduro racers (Tim Bringman - E36 BMW) and if anyone else is interested he could use the help of another pair of hands if you’d be willing to help out. It’s after the DC school on Saturday and runs 3 hours. You can email me at ajgoldsmith at yahoo and I’ll get you in touch with Tim.

Where are you guys staying? I’m at the Days Inn in Lost Hills, a bit north of BW.

See you next weekend.

AJ,
I thought you were going to test at thunderhill?

I’m staying at the luxurious Motel 6 in Buttonwillow.

Jeremy, we’ll be in class all day between track sessions, I’ll look for you when we get out.

My E30 is red with a white trunk lip and holes in the floor were the Autopower cage was attached.

AJ, see you and Igor Saturday morning.

Chris

Here is another reason to stay around Saturday for the enduro.

Clipped from todays SoCal NASA email:

"Our schedule for the weekend has been posted here:
http://socal.drivenasa.com/events/SchedBW-Oct07.pdf

Don’t miss out on our BBQ and Beer party on Saturday night."

I was planning on doing this school for awhile now, but if the school had cancelled I would be testing. All my paperwork is in and Jerry scheduled me for 4L on 11/11. I talked to Ken Myers about doing my log book inspection and he recommended waiting til Jan also since logbooks are on a calendar year. I’m bummed it’s the same weekend, but thems the breaks I spose.

AJ, looks like I’m going to miss you at Buttonwillow.

I saw you from a distance but we were still busy getting the car ready (Long, long story) before the Enduro, right up until the point I got in the car to take the start, so I didn’t have time to stop by before the Enduro and at the time I thought we were still going to be there on Sunday. We were actually just on the other side of the tire shop from you.

Due to lead up to the enduro (ie. not sleeping since Thursday night! – part of that long story) and extra time to get back the airport on "5" due to that truck fire, everyone decided after the enduro to head back to LA which blew my plans of chatting with you on Sunday.

Thanks for the invite, hopefully I’ll make it back out there before too long.

Hi Jeremy,
sorry I missed you at the track (wished I knew you were pitted close to us - AJ, Chris and I were next to one another). AJ and I helped crew for team ‘Ciencia Extrana’ at the enduro located about half way from the main building and pit exit. You weren’t that honda that rolled I hope… How did you do in the race?

just got home (about hour ago) and have no video. Enduro race was at night so I doubt any video will be of ‘watchable’ quality. Maybe some pics will show up on NASA forum…
