Scott, if it has plastic bumpers and they are in decent shape, I’d be interested in them.
Who can ID a diff by it's insides?
Oh it has late model bumpers then nevermind. I thought the 88is would have the same bumper setup as my 87is. These are the parts I was looking for in Figure 2:

Oh well. Probably better I make them out of metal anyways. I’m still not that knowledgeable on all the E30 models so maybe my setup is unique to the 1987 325is.
The plastic parts that are NLA (along with the front spoiler) are unique to 9/86 - 8/87 325is models.
I have the car now. The kid was a little cagey on whether or not the engine ran. I’m charging up the battery now to see if it will start. If not, it’s going to take every guy in the neighborhood to push it up my driveway.
Chuck, the plastic bumpers are a bit rough. I’ll take pics. You won’t exclaim “Eureka”.
If it won’t start, pull the plugs and just use the starter to pull it up the drive.
Plastic bumpers are paintable if not broken. Chuck

If I do that can I call it a “hybrid”?
It started up fine and drove into the driveway. Parts are starting to come off now.
I have to get more jackstands because the SpecE30 is already on my 4 stands (because of the diff). I never expected to need 8 jackstands for crying out loud.
You always need 8. Four for home … 6 ton so you can get the car really high for those underbody changes:woohoo: , and four with plates on the bottom for the track. Chuck
