Which spark plug wires are you guys running?

I’m getting ready to "tune up" my engine and was wondering what the preferred spark plug wires are for racing?

Any advice?

I run the 8mm magnecour lines, got them from Jack at elephant motorsports, couldn’t find them on his site but I know he has them, he is a forum sponsor.

I have stock wires. I know about ‘hoopla’ regarding 8mm and other high performance wires, however I can’t find justifiable benefit for them on stock M20 engine with unmodified ignition system…

P.S. : I am not trying to get a sale away from EMS, or other sponsors- just stating my opinion…

do these come with the signal wire on there now?? or did you somehow reuse your old one??

My car’s Previous owner threw money at Bav Auto for wires. They look nice but I don’t see how they’re any better than stock.

Breakdown of the insulation (or cooking from worn out heat shields) and corrosion are the only reasons to replace them as far as I know.

Good question, I’m not sure I didn’t install them. As far as performance I don’t think they do anything the stock wires will be fine.

Same oem wires that came with the car, I bought two years ago. Someday I will get around to replacing them.
