Where's the Smacktalk?

#1

Jeez, what a bunch of snoozers! Just two days away from hitting the track at CMP, and nobody has anything to say? I’m disappointed in you people!

It’s supposed to go something like this:

RedBaron, better get a close look at my car in the paddock, 'cause out on track I’ll be disappearing off into the distance.

Now, some of you other guys try it.

I think most of us got our fill in previous threads and last weekend.

Skittles is going down.

#3

I wasn’t able to see it in person last weekend, but I hear that Chuck’s car looks pretty good in a gravel pit.

Good one!

M3Bill, smack talk from a non-racer is totally unacceptable. Especially when we can’t even get you to do a wimpy time trial. Guess we’ll all have to wait to see how much speed is in the burgandy car at RA.

Chuck, you owe me for defending your honor.

No smack talk from me (execpt to non-racers), 'cause it’s not so easy to run up front anymore.

Incentive: anyone that can beat (race or qualify) a 155.649 gets a bottle of tequila from the stash that I’ve got. I should make a bigger incentive 'cause it will be hot and no one will get close to that time. I’m thinking an earily morning 158.0 might be the number.

Regards, Robert Patton

Is that 155 for CMP short course or full?

#8

FULL, 02/11/07, about 10:30 AM with fresh tires on the back. Damion had a 156.092 on Saturday.

The weather girl says it is going to rain. I like the rain, ya’ll like the rain? :woohoo:

Well I just finished up the last details on the car for the trip to CMP and I have a brake peadal that is still a little soft. CMP is not the place for a soft brake pedal. No worries though as I don’t need much brake to whup you clowns anyway. I own CMP:woohoo:

#12

Let me hear you perform "singing in the rain" without rain tires chump.

#13

I hope it doesn’t rain.

It probably did, but I never saw it. My son Rusty was driving in B and the RF suspension collapsed under braking into 10A. The ball joint sheared off going into the subframe. Found the stub with nut still attached when we took it apart.

I don’t know how he kept control and drove off into the litter, because just putting it on the trailer later was a challenge. I think it was a great save!

I wouldn’t count on rain at race time. Thunderstorms are gonna come late in the afternoon. And Travis I don’t even remember seeing you in the Sat. race. Were you out there with me?:woohoo: My excuse for Sunday was no brakes and tires, and I am sticking to it.

sweet… then I’m gonna leave my brakes and tires at home because I’m tired of using the "I suck" excuse :woohoo:

Well, I’m not a SE member, but I emailed this pic to Kappy - (I don’t know if it’s smacktalk or rubbing it in  )

Yeah… you get one good run on me Saturday, smacktalk it, then wimped out on Sunday. :stuck_out_tongue:

Bask in your 15 seconds of fame… Next time, you will not be so lucky
