Where's the Lowe's Smack?

#1

Not that I’m one to talk smack but I’m very surprised there’s not even just a little talk.

Where Jones’ and IndyJim threatening to put someone into the wall?

Are you all too scared?

#2

I’m not threatening to put someone in the wall I"m doing it. Of course it will have to be when I’m putting you all a lap down.

How’s that?

#3

Jim -

Are you sure you can jam all that greatness into one day without pulling a hamstring? Go easy. You’re not as young as you used to be.

Steve D.

#4

That’s not your best Smack talk Jim. I think Steve may be onto something. You may be in over your head on this one. It might be better for you to save your a-game for DTOM and the enduro.

When is everyone rolling into town? Track is going to close at 6pm on Thursday.:frowning: What’s are folks going to be doing since we can hang at the track?

#5

I only saw the weak showing of 11 SE30’s according the latest list. Where is everyone?

#6

How long since everybody ran this track?

I think this might be my first winning weekend here…

Jones - I only live about 30 minutes from the track - I’m sure we’ll be out having drinks the night before.

#7

I will be there, putting whatever kind of whupin 143hp will do. My plan for Thursday night is to check into a hotel, crank the AC and get a bunch of sleep. I have been running my ass off this week.

Blackberries are ripe and this year’s crop is even bigger than last, I may bring some down with some Tequila, Contraux, Midori, and a blender. I have picked over 100 pounds the last 2 days. Has anyone ever had a fresh blackberry margarita?

Oh, I plan to win the enduro.

Al

#8

Planning and doing can be very different things. We’ll see!

#9

Looks like I am not coming.

#10

Thats what she said.

You ladies are getting a pass. I worked hard to get the new ride ready, but there’s too many loose ends that need to be addressed to put it on a track with that many concrete walls. I’ll definately be there to watch, taunt, and crew for the enduro. I’ll have my gear if needed…

#13

Oh, that’s where all the money went Travis! Too bad you can’t make it.

Damn, blank boy, racer X - you have a lot of names Jim.

6th Place Trophy For Lowes:

I’d like to thank Kelly Childress for the parts found in this trophy, which were used in his test of insanity, which subsequently inspired Ranger into thinking that it sounded like an awesome fun idea. All Ranger has yet to do to supersede Kelly is to light/catch his car on fire to take the crown.

I made sure to paint it this time to appease Scott Mcmennnnenenemmemy’s blood pressure.

As always, those who are competing for this master work of art and free Performance Friction front brake pads compliments of BimmerWorld must have BimmerWorld stickers on each side of his or her car.

Nice work, Craig

You have really upped your game. Although I’m a bit surprised you’ve made a trophy with Kelly’s parts and there’s no clutch bits :woohoo:

#16

Nice trophy! Too bad I don’t plan on finishing that far back!

#17

Yo Jones

Welcome to wall city, population, YOU!

From memory…

Race 1
Johan
Robinson
Geeger
Patton
Reznikov
Bill Z
Scott M
Laura P
Fred
Jim Levie

Race 2
Johan
Geeger
Robinson
Patton
Bill Z
Reznikov
Jones
Scott M
Laura
Fred
Jim

I’m not completely sure that is how they finished, but it should be close.

Al done blowed up a motor, Jones had a wheel bearing crap out before the first race.

Every one was clean without damage from what I saw.

It was fun to watch. Johan got ripped off in qualifying by a blind RX-8 driver on an outlap. Geegar looked like he bump-drafted Blank Boy’s rear bumper off. Pretty good battles all the way through the pack.

#20

Yep, 2 fifth place finishes, but great lap times. Now if only I can be more consistent and better in traffic.

Great day, weather was awesome, track pretty fun, although a bit rough.
