Where and when do we want the IFU race?

#1

If we’re going to do the IFU this year we need to get started. Longer lead time makes it easier for out of region types to join us, and it makes it easier to get the t-shirts done. Put your reasons for your choice in this thread. Read everyone else’s reasons and then go to the survey and enter your choice.

Personally, I’m choosing CMP because I’m not sure that I can make it to AMP. It looks like the wife will be out of town. Otherwise I would have voted for AMP just because doing an insane race like the IFU at a track we’ve not been to before sounds [strike]stupid[/strike] perfect.

If you’re not participating, don’t skew the poll by voting.

Personally, i like the idea of hosting the IFU at AMP. It is a new track and what better way to break in a new track with about 30+ spec-e30s tearing it up. Also, i think that it should remain soley spec-e30s, because that is what it started out as. If we get a low turnout this year maybe it would be good idea to add other spec classes, but the race is already hectic as it is.

I went with AMP as I was really looking forward to doing my first IFU this year, and I really don’t want to make the 11 hour drive to CMP.

I voted for CMP…I plan to have the rebuilt white car debut there…

Very nice, Jim!
No excuse for missing this track’s specE30 debut. I can’t wait and I hope we can get this prime autumn date every year.

So it looks like it’s decided that the IFU will be at AMP?

I think I’ll try to make it down for this one. Was going to do VIR in Oct but will be out of the country for work so looks like that won’t happen. Gives me a good excuse to come down and race with the SE.
