Wheel offset?

What is the optimum wheel offset for e30’s that are going racing? 15x7 size.

with toyo 205’s, I believe 15mm offset puts the wheel out as far as possible without flaring (lip rolling may be required). Don’t know if this is "optimum".

Lots of people run the 25mm Team Dynamics wheels that Bimmerworld ordered special for e30’s.

As above most of the off the shelf 15 by 7’s are a 30-20mm offset. Ours are 25mm and this fits great without spacers. It’s pretty much dead on centered in the wheel well. Depending on how wide a tire it will fit without rolling, 205’s shouldn’t require anything. I’d recomend rolling the lip and getting a couple of sets of spacers in various thicknesses. You can fine tune the handling with them.

ET 15 is ideal . i have ATS wheels in this offset ,and these fit perfectly.

The Koenig’s that I have (which are now available at a discount through NASA for $70 each), are 20mm offset and they seem pretty far out in the wheel well.
