What is behind the center air duct?

Other than plastic ducts that feed the center dash vents is there anything vital between the center vents and the firewall?

I am considering drilling straight through the center vent and through the firewall to mount a long eyebolt for the front strap on my right side net. Any thoughts?

Nope, once you pull the ducting and the defrost routing vents, it’s all a straight shot to the firewall.

The wiper apparatus and wiring in the engine compartment may cause you some issues, however.
