Some of you may have met John Haynie at RR earlier this year. John has been a spectator long enough, the good news is, he found a really nice 87is car today and has taken the plunge. The car is in my garage until he can clear out space at home to start building a race car. Welcome to the fun John!
Welcome John Haynie
:woohoo: One more Southeast car coming. Welcome John, when are we gonna start ripping into that thing. I’m free Sunday after I watch Lewis win the F1 World Championship!

Damion, that’s a great way to "Pay it Forward" since some other SE30 whacks helped build your car. Initiate the new guy, tell him welcome from the rest of us, and ask him to call you "T-Bone".
Agree JP, 87 may be one of the best years given the bumper durability. It may be easy to recruit John to the dark side, this car is already red. Going your way, he only has to buy half a paint job. Knowing John, he is a classy guy, I think he might be looking for a wine sponsor.
Ok, ok, I’m here. Thanks for the introduction Steve and I’m going to try to resist the urge to tear the car to pieces in the next week. I’ve got a ways to go, but would like to try to be ready in a couple of seasons. I’m leaving it red for now. We’ve got a taxi cab out there, I was thinking a fire engine theme.
I’ll be looking for advice, ideas, and free spare parts from all of you, so be ready.

I have a red car as well… I think you should be the SpecE30 Communist. I’m moving more in the El Diablo direction myself.
Steve, do you think Boones would sponsor Al and Travis? Seriously, for fun someone should call Mad Dog.
Al and Travis are a little too pansy for Boone’s Farm. We don’t want to water down its fine reputation by sponsoring such nancies.
I certainly think Travis is a wild irish rose man…

"Another web page claims that this foul beverage is a conspiracy by the republicans to kill the homeless."
AHAHAHA!

Not a bad idea…me thinks they would.
