VIR with BMWCCA, 4/10-12

#1

Pantas and I were going to go race with the MA guys this weekend at VIR, but we agreed that we’ve had enough rain racing for the entire 2009 season.

So, Chuck Taylor comes up with the idea to go to VIR with the CCA guys.

I’m in. Jim Robinson was going??? Others?

I thought you guys were going to do the July event?

I’ll come up and watch in April but… no can race

Scott,yes for July ,too.

Just a bunch of racing fools. We’ll use the April CCA event as a tune-up for the big (we’ll make it big) NASA cross-regional thing in July.

Patton is an artful liar. You think I could come up with an idea like this?

Anyway, he is right that it’s a tune-up for the July hootenanny. I’ve never driven full course; the Tarheel/VDCA event is rumored to be a lot of fun and is definitely a lot of track time. I’ve done their RRR December before and it’s a great experience.

Anyway, with 52 cars (at last count) we’ll be spending a lot of time watching mirrors I think.

Speaking of July, registration opens on May 23rd.

I’ll probably be there, probably not in an E30.

How is that for specific!

Bimmerworld is putting on a test/tune day on thursday if you want some extra seat time. Not sure how many spots are left but contact James if you’re interested.

I’ll be there to help out with data, coaching, setup, drinking your beer, etc…i can help you get those mediocre lap times you’ve been wanting to run

i hope to see a bunch of you guys up there that weekend!!

Not sure what my plans are…will be coming off the big 24hrs of LeMons weekend and hopefully will be recovering from the victory celebration. I haven’t even fixed the dents that were incured last year at this event. If I run it will be with VCDA as I am not even a CCA member anymore and the last time I inquired they wanted so many “fee’s” I said no thanks…

Al
CCA License # 90 can anyojne here beat that?
