Mike a 2:18.000? That’s wicked fast! Were you all by yourself on that lap or did you get a tow? Either way nice lap man for real!
Nah, it wasn’t the lap I got the push from Vic. Watch the video, I put in a note at the end of the 2:18 lap. I don’t think I was ever close enough to anyone for a tow.
Skeen,
Nice driving! I’ll be waiting for the thank-you card for the push I did give you. I know it wasn’t the smoking fast lap, but it got you by 2 cars. I was planning to train it on through, but I bobbled and just watched you walk away. Oh well!

Absolutely Vic! That was a huge help. This was more or less my first race with MA (technically this event last year was, but it was the first time out with the car). I can’t wait to get back in March and race with you guys again.

Robert, I was driving the unstoppable Salazar Car #54. The Salazar guys, led by Alex, all pitched in and gave me the car as a Christmas/engagement gift. I don’t like to call it my car, but rather “the Salazar car.”
Unfortunately, the unstoppable car was stopped during the enduro. We had a wreck on the back straight - it was pretty bad, but fixable. From what I understand, the car hydroplaned on one side and just snapped around at over 100mph. The same thing happened to me in the rain last year, but I was lucky enough that the spin happened earlier in the straight and kept going.
We’ll be back up and running…now I just wish that you SouthEast guys were a little closer to DC…more on that later, I’m sure.

Vic, We’ll loan Brian out to you. He’s a SouthEast guy at heart.
Just remember. You break em. You buy em.
Speaking of broken… Make sure you get your car up and running by May 18th. You Mid-Atlantic guys need to come to Roebling for IFU2. It’ll be worth the trip.
