Have you tried Sleep Inn, they are close by and usually reasonable.

A lot of hotels are booked because NASCAR is right next door in Martinsville. NASA-MA posted a few suggested hotels in Roxboro and South Boston, NC. I booked one there, but am planning to crash on the floor in a friend’s pit suite. Lemme know if the you have trouble in Roxboro and you can probably take my reservation.

I’ll be going home each night so an air mattrass (and electric heater if needed) in the back of my boxtruck might work.

And I’ll save you some money. It’s only $185.00 per night.

Seriously, it’ll be available if anyone needs it.

I just reserved a room at Hampton Inn in Roxboro,NC @$79 nite, NASA special. Google says it’s 15 miles from the track.

I have stayed there before. It is not that bad and you get to see some nice scenic lake views on the way to the track

My place is less than 5 miles from the track, shouldnt be too cold then, bring air matress or sleeping bag, charge is good beer and or liquor.

Any beer or likker that Al doesn’t have to pay for falls in the "good" category.

Might I suggest a fine MD 20/20 or Boone’s Farm Tickle Pink??

I drink anything but bourbon, so that rules out Jack or Jim. Not sure about The Captain…I like some of that high $ dark rum…I think I poured some of "The Captain" on a skank one time and the results were not that good

Working for the Winery, Im sad to say that Tickle Pink has been discontinued. We do have a new Boones Watermelon coming out this summer. Should age nicely, good mouthfeel and strong essence of …well, watermelon.
